Space Syntax as a Method to Improve the Space Quality of Future Low-income Housing (L-iH) in Malaysia

This paper highlights the role of Space Syntax as a method to analyze spatial quality in Low-income Housing (L-iH) Malaysia. schemes such People’s Project (PPR) have been one government’s approaches coping with housing shortage Klang Valley. These L-iH reported be unsatisfactory inhabitants’ comfort, social and cultural needs. It is therefore crucial investigate relationship between space occupants by assessing indoor visibility using Visual Graph Analysis (VGA) part method, analytical tool improve future designs that will benefit occupants, policymakers, low-income house developers consultants, researchers architecture field, society at large.
